Role Summary
The Senior Services Sales Manager (SSM) role at Nutanix drives revenue
and services growth across enterprise, public sector and commercial accounts by
shaping, proposing, and closing complex Nutanix Professional Services (PS)
solutions. This role sells Nutanix’s full services portfolio—including consulting,
implementation, migration, hybrid/multi-cloud enablement, automation, database
services, Kubernetes modernization, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
(AI/ML) infrastructure enablement, End User Computing/ Virtual Desktop
Infrastructure (EUC/VDI) transformations, and Day-2 operational services such as
TAMs and Resident Engineers, along with Education.
As a senior individual contributor this role engages closely with Nutanix Product
Sales, Solutions/Systems Engineering, Professional Services Delivery,
Customer Success, and Channel/Partner ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Services Sales Execution & Pipeline Ownership
  • Own Nutanix Professional Services quota and drive predictable quarterly performance for Korea Region.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline aligned to the Nutanix Portfolio of Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS), Nutanix Database (NDB), Nutanix Coud Manager (NCM), Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP), AI/ML services, EUC, and other PS offerings.
  • Lead complex opportunity scoping, qualification, and multi-stakeholder orchestration.
  • Develop tailored services proposals focused on adoption acceleration, modernization, hybrid cloud- transformation, and Day-2 operational maturity.
2. Complex Deal Structuring & Governance
  • Lead solution shaping with Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, and Legal.
  • Structure deals across T&M, fixed-fee, subscription/recurring, and outcome-based models.
  • Navigate approval workflows, commercial exceptions, risk assessments, and margin optimization.
  • Oversee SOW accuracy including scope, dependencies, resourcing, timelines, and assumptions.
3. Customer & Executive Engagement
  • Engage CIO/CTO/CISO/COO/LOB executives through value-based discovery and business outcome framing.
  • Develop hybrid-cloud-transformation roadmaps using Nutanix’s multi-product services portfolio.
  • Communicate ROI, TCO reduction, operational simplicity, and business continuity value.
4. Collaboration With Nutanix Product Field Sales
  • Partner with Nutanix Account Executives and Systems Engineers on joint account planning.
  • Support product deals with essential services attach motions to accelerate adoption of the Nutanix Portfolio. 
  • Support product-led services bundling to reduce adoption risk and accelerate time-to-value.
5. Partner & Channel Ecosystem Alignment
  • Work with service delivery partners.
  • Support co-sell and co-deliver models with Partner and Channel Ecosystem.
  • Align partner roles, delivery swim lanes, and commercial models.
6. Delivery Alignment & Customer Success
  • Ensure smooth post-sales handoff to Nutanix Professional Services Delivery and Customer Success.
  • Monitor project health, customer satisfaction, expansion opportunities, and reference creation. 
  • Identify Phase-2/3/4 services opportunities, recurring managed services, and TAM/Resident expansions.
Required Qualifications

1. 7–10+ years in enterprise services sales, consulting sales, or complex solution selling including:

  • Advanced territory planning and whitespace analysis
  • MEDDICC/MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks
  • Pricing strategy, concession management, negotiation leadership
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline governance

    2. Proven success exceeding services quota in hybrid cloud, infrastructure, modernization, or data-center transformation domains, including through the use of:

    • Business outcome modeling, TCO/ROI analysis
    • Hybrid cloud and modernization roadmap creation
    • Executive discussion leadership with C suite stakeholders
    • Storytelling across business, technical, and operational levels

    3. Strong domain knowledge in cloud/hybrid cloud, virtualization, data services, Kubernetes, automation, security, or AI infrastructure.

    4. Experience selling multi-workload service packages, migrations, and operations/Day-2 offerings.

    5. Executive-level communication skills, value-based selling, and deal orchestration experience.

    6. Fluent in Korean and working level English Skills

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Familiarity with Nutanix technologies.
    • Experience selling hybrid-cloud transformation or multi technology services programs.
    • Understanding of delivery governance, SOW quality, and risk mitigation.
